Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OVA Dispatch services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

OVA Dispatch provides:

  • On-demand rideshare transportation
  • Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT)
  • School and institutional transportation routes
  • Fleet management services for businesses

3. User Responsibilities

As a user, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Comply with all applicable laws during trips
  • Treat drivers and other users with respect
  • Be ready at pickup locations at scheduled times
  • Pay for services rendered
  • Not use the service for illegal activities

4. Payments and Cancellations

  • Prices are calculated based on distance, time, and service type
  • Payment is due upon trip completion
  • Cancellations within 5 minutes of booking are free
  • Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee
  • For insurance-covered rides, applicable copays are due at time of service

5. Safety and Conduct

For everyone's safety:

  • Seatbelts must be worn at all times
  • No smoking, vaping, or open alcohol containers
  • No weapons or illegal substances
  • Harassment or threatening behavior will result in account termination
  • Emergency services can be contacted through the app's SOS feature

6. Limitation of Liability

OVA Dispatch is a technology platform connecting riders with drivers. We are not liable for: delays due to traffic or weather, actions of independent contractor drivers outside our control, items left in vehicles (though we will assist with recovery efforts), or indirect damages arising from service use. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific trip at issue.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, safety concerns, or non-payment. You may close your account at any time through app settings.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Harris County, Texas. Class action lawsuits are waived. Small claims court remains available for qualifying disputes.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
